About Me

I’m Kinjal. I’m a product designer and a researcher. I started my journey as an interior architect and in 2016 I transitioned to the field of product design. I did my Master’s in interaction design from the School of Visual Arts, NYC.

Past & Present

I am currently leading the design of a B2B SaaS platform for an early-stage agriculture analytics startup, where I am managing the end-to-end process from research to content strategy to experience and visual design. Prior to this I worked on some cool projects with the City of Toronto, Træna Municipality (Norway), and JPMorgan Chase (New York).

At Work

I strive to understand how emotional, social, and environmental factors affect users’ behaviour and decision-making. A healthy and fun work culture is quite important to me and I take pride in initiating ways to make an already awesome work culture even better. I thrive in collaborative and challenging work environments where I get to exchange ideas and learn new things.

In Life

Aside from work, you may find me volunteering for social impact projects. I am a hardcore board-gamer, an avid anime and superhero fan, and a low-key hiker.
